Bordered by Little River in Johnston County North Carolina, the 120 acre farm consist of 50 acres of loblolly pine, 17 acres of cropland, a 10 acre meadow, and 43 acres of bottomland hardwoods. Named after Hatcher's Bridge that crosses Little River adjacent to the property.
The farm is a resource for those individuals working towards environmental education certification and anyone interested in the environment.
Many wild animals call Hatcher's Bridge Tree Farm home including: Deer, Turkey, Quail, Dove, Rabbits, Ducks, Bobcats, Hawks, Groundhogs, and many others.
The farm is closed for the season during Nov. 1 - April 30
Hatcher's Bridge Tree Farm is a member of the Association of N. C. Environmental Education Centers.
This NASCAR sanctioned venue is a quarter-mile oval asphalt track with 17 degree turns featuring Saturday races March to October.

A 6,000 sq. foot exhibit gallery displays artifacts from all aspects of farm life, along with a hands-on children's exhibit, household goods, musical instruments, clothing, and agricultural tools. A restored farmstead, with main house, detached kitchen, smoke house, tobacco barn, working blacksmith shop, 1890's one room school house and reproduction pack house depicts rural life as it was during the Great Depression era.· The gift shop offers souvenirs and hand-crafter items.
